ABOUT ME
Although the beginning of my dance training was heavily focused on classical ballet technique, after graduating from Jacksonville University with a BFA in dance, I have since become a strong contemporary dancer with a technical foundation and the ability to adapt to many dance genres. During my time at JU, I was fortunate enough to work with choreographers such as Paula Weber, Eric Rivera, Angelica Burgos, Antonio Brown, Miguel Perez, Jennifer Archibald, and Amy Miller, as well as learn from professors Brian Palmer, Lana Heylock, Tiffany Santiero, and Yidi Lin. My choreographic work focuses heavily on interpersonal relationships and challenging societal norms, and I have been fortunate to set my work on students from Festival Ballet Providence and Jacksonville University. I have also presented as a dancer/choreographer in the Berkshire Choreography Project, as a finalist at the VKIBC Contemporary and Choreography Competition, and at the Florida Collegiate Honors Council Conference.
